Estate & Trust Design – Professional Advisor Collaboration for Family Wealth Transfer Success

Trustee Services Group (TSG) is an attorney owned and operated Colorado Springs based professional services firm specializing in estate and trust fiduciary services.

With its “open architecture” model of trustee services which embraces the role of the family’s trusted wealth advisor in the continued management of the generational trust wealth, TSG has learned much about the benefits of keeping the family’s wealth advisor involved with the family’s next generation.

As Personal Representative, Successor Trustee and Agent for Financial Affairs under the Durable Power of Attorney, TSG also has plenty of practical experience in serving families in the context of their incapacity and passing.  

During this program, TSG will lead a conversation about estate and trust design and share its observations and experiences in working with estate practitioners, wealth advisors and CPAs in collaboratively serving families in the context of their wealth transfer.

Presenter: 

Steve Marken is the President and Founder of Trustee Services Group. Prior to founding Trustee Services Group in 2009, Steve was a practicing attorney, and supported financial advisors throughout the country while working at the corporate offices of Pacific Life and ING Advisors. Steve is also recognized by the American Institute of Philanthropic Studies as a Certified Specialist in Charitable Tax Planning. Through his work with both private foundations and community foundations, Steve also uniquely understands the role of philanthropy in the family wealth equation.

Drawing upon his professional background and experience in law, tax, finance and philanthropy, Steve founded Trustee Services Group, which is an attorney-owned and operated professional service company specializing in trustee and estate settlement services with offices in Colorado Springs, Denver, Fort Collins, and most recently Cheyenne.

Check-in and networking will start at 11:15 a.m., with the buffet open for lunch by 11:30. The business meeting will commence at 11:45, just before the 12:00 start time for the speaker.
