Venue:
This live event will be conducted virtually via Zoom. Check in and networking will start at 11:30 a.m., and the business meeting will commence at 11:45. The speaker will start at 12 noon.
Program:
This presentation will focus on the impact of the recently enacted SECURE and CARES Acts on Retirement Distribution planning. Rick will cover changes made regarding Required Minimum Distributions for the long run contained in the SECURE Act, as well as short term access to retirement plans made possible by the CARES Act. As is to be expected, the changes create some pitfalls to be avoided, as well as opportunities for planning professionals to capture. Rick will review alternative retirement plan strategies involving insurance, investments and legal planning which may help offset the limitations on life expectancy distributions for most plan beneficiaries imposed by the SECURE Act. All require affirmative action and planning team cooperation and coordination!
