Course Description: To educate estate planners on the current Federal Tax Law. Ms Marschner will discuss the tax law that has been passed as of the presentation date. The talk will focus mainly on Individual tax but will include pertinent additional highlights of S Corporation, Partnership and Trust Tax Law. In addition, new cases, rulings and stories will be presented. She will provide examples in practice and discuss how the changes will affect filing and planning for individuals.
Learning Objective: The purpose of the presentation is to educate estate planners regarding the current tax law whenever it goes into effect for 2017 and 2018, with insights into specific examples of changes that affect individual tax situations.
